L: We come today seeking the One who has been faithful in every season.
P: Christ has walked beside us, even when we did not recognize him.
L: We come with gratitude for the faith that has brought us this far, and with open hearts for whatever Christ wants to show us today.
P: Give us the courage to trust you, Lord, and to follow wherever you lead.
L: Come, let us worship the living Christ, whose love has always surrounded us, whose grace has always been enough, and whose presence is closer than we imagine.
P: We come with wonder. We come with hope. We come to worship the living Christ.

Prayer for Illumination:
Living Christ, You have been with us in every season of our lives—often before we knew your name, always before we recognized your presence. As your Word is read and proclaimed today, quiet our assumptions,
soften our hearts, and open our eyes. Give us the humility to receive what is true, the wisdom to treasure those who have brought us this far, and the courage to follow wherever you lead. May we hear your voice anew, not because you have changed, but because we are still learning to listen. And as we worship, may we discover once again that your love is greater than we imagined, your grace has always been enough, and your presence is nearer than we know. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Teacher, our Friend, our Savior, our Lord, and the One who is always leading us into life. Amen.
