Pub Theology with Bob Johnston and Brian Coyer Group will meet at the Craft Breww City at Orchard Lake & 12 Mile Road. Starting September 22nd Mondays - 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Pub Theology offers participants an informal setting to discuss life’s biggest questions. Participants will tackle a variety of questions from a diverse group of topics. Though many of the questions we will tackle touch on questions of faith, spirituality and the presence of God in our modern world, Pub Theology is not a bible study. In fact, participants need not be Christians or even profess to believe in God. Our discussions seek to find common ground, open ourselves to differing perspectives, and to learn more about our fellow participants’ view of the world and the universal challenges and mysteries that we all face. We will have lively, non-judgmental discussions that are serious, yet fun, in a casual setting.

Finding Faith in Film
Dr. Althea Simpson Group will meet in the Lounge at Franklin Church Starting September 24th Wednesdays - 7:00 - 9:00 pm. To find faith through film study, we will examine movies for Christian themes like redemption, sacrifice, and grace, and use film-based resources such as books and online guides that offer discussion questions and related scripture. We will discuss films to bond and share perspectives, or watch with a critical, spiritual lens to deepen your personal understanding of faith's role in everyday life and storytelling.
